Heads Up for Sept. 15th 2018.

The day following an Establish day is a Removal day and the Chinese Almanac (Tong Shu) lists it as a 除 (Chu) day.

The energies of the day are generally used for purification and cleansing activities. With the watery Scorpio moon still in a VOC phase till 10.44am (AEST) it maybe best to refrain from major gardening projects till after this time. If you are an early morning riser then start with some responsible watering of your seedlings and plants (bore water if possible). Followed by light removal tasks like sweeping or raking.

When the moon moves into the fiery sign of Sagittarius after 10.44am, the energies will turn Semi Barren in tone. Optimum use of the day’s energies involve planting fruiting crops like strawberries, peas or cucumbers under the influence of the Waxing moon which will be no longer void of course.

As it’s a Removal day, therefore pest control or treating pesky disease infected specimens, are generally very effective on such days.
